MEET Christopher Koch

CK Global Travel was founded by Christopher Koch in 2015 on a simple belief: travel has the power to enrich lives in lasting and meaningful ways. Through experience, education, and enjoyment, the company helps clients see the world not merely as a destination, but as an opportunity for personal growth and lifelong memories.
 
Our founder’s path to travel advising was anything but linear. Christopher’s first career spanned more than 14 years in law and court administration with the Los Angeles Superior Court, where he worked alongside distinguished judges and attorneys on complex civil, criminal, and family law matters. While the work was demanding and impactful, it ultimately inspired a search for a career more deeply aligned with connection, purpose, and discovery.
 
In 2004, he and his wife, Denise, relocated with their two children from Southern California to North Carolina. This leap of faith marked the beginning of a new chapter—one centered on balance, perspective, and a renewed appreciation for life beyond the daily grind.
 
After exploring opportunities in finance and information technology, he discovered his true calling in travel, beginning with the design and leadership of overseas group pilgrimages. These journeys uniquely combined travel with purpose, faith, and shared experience. While pilgrimage travel remains especially meaningful, CK Global Travel now also specializes in luxury, adventure, and cruise genres, with each itinerary thoughtfully tailored to the individual goals and dreams of its clients.
 
In 2015, he and Denise took advantage of the opportunity to work and live in Central London. With Denise working at her company’s global headquarters, Christopher with mobile phone and laptop on the go was able to broaden his experience, professional network and global perspective, enabling him to cultivate strong relationships with trusted travel and real estate partners across Europe, Asia, and Africa. These connections translate into exceptional value and VIP-level experiences for CK Global Travel clients.
 
Now based in Pinehurst, North Carolina, Christopher and CK Global Travel welcomes the opportunity to meet with prospective clients for a complimentary consultation, either in person or virtually, to discuss travel aspirations and bring them to life.

Fee Schedule

The late Dr. E. Zilbert, may he rest in peace, was a wise man who taught simple axioms in economics that we continue to hold true:
  • There's no such thing as a free lunch
  • Time = Money
  • Price does not equal value

We value our time by spending a significant amount of time and resources visiting and inspecting our partner's properties as well as researching our client’s vacation needs. The investment in time and money to develop close relationships with owners and management of our onsite and hotel partners ensures that YOU, our client, are treated as a VIP.

CK Global Travel operates as an INVITATION-ONLY, referral-based independently owned travel company, affiliated with First Class Travel, a Travel Leaders Network Member.

Upon the completion and review of your profile as well as a 30-minute complimentary evaluation to determine whether there’s a mutual fit. Going forward, once we assess your needs and determine the scope of services we'll need to provide, we'll quote you a travel planning fee as determined by criteria such as the number of annual trips, level of service, and overall complexity of the itineraries. As we believe that YOUR time is quite valuable, likewise, we believe ours is as well.

A schedule of our fees is available upon request.
